Meet Ms. Lopez
Welcome to the Learning Expedition!

Hello! My name is Ms. Lopez, and I’m so excited to welcome you to The Learning Expedition this year! 🐆✨
I teach:
-
📖 7th Grade Reading Intervention
-
✍️ 6th Grade Applied ELA
-
🌟 6th Grade Advisory
On our expedition, we’ll grow as readers, writers, and thinkers while building confidence and community along the way. Just like explorers, we’ll tackle challenges, celebrate progress, and support one another on every step of our journey.
When I’m not teaching, I enjoy cooking new recipes, going to the movies, and discovering new places to travel.
I can’t wait to partner with you this year—our Learning Expedition is going to be full of discovery, growth, and adventure! 🌿✨

What’s Happening in the Learning Expedition
Prepared & Ready
Bring a pencil and Chromebook charger every day. This is what being prepared looks like--ready to write, learn, and power through!
Strong Reading Routine
Explorers should always carry an independent reading book. Building this routine strengthens stamina, focus, and love for reading.
Explorer Trait: Risk Takers
This week we're practicing being Risk Takers---trying new strategies, sharing bold ideas, and stepping outside our comfort zones.
